Civil Attorney
Sintia Solis Law Firm PLLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will primarily handle family law matters, along with personal injury cases and other civil matters as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload involving family law, personal injury, and general civil matters
- Handle cases from the initial consultation through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
- Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
- Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in and outside the courtroom
- Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, and documentation
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Provide guidance and supervision to legal staff assisting with civil matters
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing
- A minimum of two years of legal experience is preferred
- Family law experience is strongly preferred
- Personal injury or other civil litigation experience is a plus
- Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Excellent communication, organization, and client-service skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required for hearings, trials, deadlines, or client needs
- Location: Pasadena, Texas
- Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
