The Nurse Practitioner provides virtual medical, clinical and lifestyle medicine services and is part of an interdisciplinary care team working as a staff clinician with Starlight. Our goal is to help our patients optimize their health, lifestyle, and confidence while providing superior virtual patient care with a high level of compassion and empathy. The Nurse Practitioner will have experience and expertise providing telehealth clinical services covering generalized health care, condition management, transition of care, and remote patient monitoring. The Nurse Practitioner will connect with patients on calls and through digital methods to support the patient in their behavior change journey.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works independently and is responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures
  • Develops clinical care pathways and oversees the processes, procedures and protocols that the clinical staff follows
  • Obtains histories, conduct virtual exams, document findings, evaluates and diagnoses medical and behavioral health conditions, recommends treatment plans, constructs care plans, enlists support from other team members, and promotes peace of mind by investing in patient confidence
  • Delivers patient care in high-priority care targeting a range of common chronic conditions
  • Demonstrates flexibility by adapting as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving, ambiguous environment
  • Communicates effectively with other providers via charting, calls, and digital messaging
  • Delivers patient care that balances the best that medical science has to offer, patient preferences and values, and invests in patients’ future confidence and skills
  • Provide feedback about opportunities to improve the quality of care and operation processes
  • Maintain privacy of participant health data by following company protocols
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of nurse practitioner experience required; telemedicine experience highly preferred
  • Must have an active and unrestricted APRN medical licensure in WA. (License in LA, NC, and/or OR is a plus)
  • Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP, or another nationally recognized certification
  • Gladstone Elation experience required
  • Digital literacy and overall advanced tech familiarity
  • Lifestyle Medicine, RPM, and/or clinic-based experience preferred
  • Competent in providing patient education during calls and via digital interactions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus


Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation: $60 to $80 per hour, commensurate with experience
