Job description

Sign of the Buck is a new restaurant and bar located in the heart of historic Gettysburg, occupying the first floor of the newly renovated Union Hotel. The 100-seat establishment that opened in July 2023 with a New American menu inspired by French cuisine and featuring produce and meats from local farms as well as extensive selection of wine, craft cocktails, beer, cider, and other libations. Front-of-house staff will report directly to the General Manager and the Front-of-House Manager.

We are seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to interact with our patrons in a skillful, friendly, engaged, and informed manner.

Food Runner: $10/hour + Tip outs

Requirements:

• At least 16 years of age - Preferably 18+
• Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Outstanding communication and ability to take direction
• Self-motivated; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly and engaged, with the desire and ability to work as part of a team
• Maintain uniform, hygiene, and grooming standards and requirements
• Ensure equipment is used safely and cleaned and maintained properly
• Adhere to daily and weekly deep-clean schedule
• Operate with a positive attitude and interact with staff respectfully; lead by example to set and maintain a high level of standards for dining excellence and mutual trust among fellow staff

Preferences:

• Previous food-running experience
