Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable in both SQL and Python to run sales and marketing reports, as well as perform other engineering tasks. This individual will play a crucial role in analyzing data to drive business decisions and improve overall performance and will be expected to submit pull requests to our code repository.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure that we are collecting the right types of data in the right places

- Analyze sales and marketing data specifically to identify trends and opportunities

- Generate SQL reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators

- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis

- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in analytics

- Contribute high quality Python with test coverage to our repository

Requirements:

- College degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field

- Startup experience in analytics or data science roles

- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation

- Familiarity with git

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

Example projects:

- Funnel tracking from Search Console (SEO) to Google Analytics (marketing website) to Microsoft Clarity (web application)

- Helping us attribute deal flow from in-person events, webinars, and email marketing to deals in our CRM

- Delivering custom reports to our customers from Snowflake (Python or SQL required)

- Scraping and manipulating data and learning to leverage new AI tools as needed.
