Receptionist for Mental Health Clinic
Responsibilities:
· Checking patients in and out of appointments for multiple providers
· Scheduling patients for multiple providers
· Taking vitals, such as blood pressure (with a mechanized cuff) weight, and height
· Customer Service by phone - taking calls, answering questions, and routing calls
· Insurance verification
· Requesting prior authorization for medications.
· Calling in prescriptions.
· Electronic filing
· Faxing
· Answering phones/taking messages
· Processing payments
· Posting and Balancing daily batches
- Back up for Spravato and TMS procedures
Qualifications:
- 1+ years Medical Reception Experience or Education
· Experience maintaining provider schedules
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
· A team player attitude
· Experience with medication prior authorization is a plus but will train the right person
