As a general laborer assisting welders, electricians, and installers, your primary responsibility is to provide support and assistance to these skilled tradespeople as needed. This may include tasks such as carrying materials, cleaning work areas, holding tools or equipment, and performing basic assembly or installation tasks under their guidance. You must be willing to learn and follow instructions carefully to ensure the safety and efficiency of the work being performed. Additionally, you may be asked to perform other general labor duties as required to support the overall project or job site. Strong communication skills, a willingness to work as part of a team, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pulling wires through conduits and cable trays
  •  Assisting with drilling holes for wiring
  • Helping electricians with installing and connecting electrical components
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Following safety protocols and guidelines at all times
  •  Other general labor tasks as assigned
  •  Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Assist in bolting down metal tables to cement floors in a prison setting
  • Follow instructions provided by supervisor for completing tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Perform general labor duties such as moving materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting with other tasks as needed
  •  Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities
  •  Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks



Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in general labor or construction preferred
  2. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
  4. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
  5. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
  6. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
