We are looking for an amazing part-time Receptionist and Salon Assistant (we call it a Salon Specialist) to join our team full time (4 days, 32 hours). This is a fully paid hourly position and you're eligible for tips and commissions.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Must have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client children and parents. Ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. Specifically, the Receptionist and Salon Assistant will be responsible for:

• Greet our guests and offer friendly, prompt and exceptional service
• Manages the salon software, customer appointments and salon traffic flow
• Disinfect all the store equipment and keep the store clean and tidy
• Keep retail shelves stocked
• Assist stylists with prepping children in chairs and mini-cures for girls.
• Organize and lead glamour parties (when allowed, these occur after shop operating hours, when needed).
• Report to the Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
• Ensure mini-cure treatments meet high quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of salon.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced atmosphere.
• Ability to work with kids.
• Ability to work at other Sharkey's Cuts for Kids locations owned by Ronato Inc. if requested. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Customer service (3 years) preferred.
• Minimum one year experience.
• Must work weekends (our busiest and most fun time!).
• Sales experience and able to educate clients on retail products
• Wear a smile
• Legal to work in US
