We are a scaling start-up based in New Orleans, LA. We started this company because we realized growth-stage businesses need CFO-level expertise, but not a full-time resource. Our model pairs our Fractional CFOs (who serve as part-time CFOs for multiple clients) with our entrepreneur clients, giving them earlier access to Executive-level Finance talent for the cost of an entry-level employee.
What is SNS looking for?
Responsibilities:
o Manage client relationships: act as the primary point of contact for their clients from onboarding phase until their successful graduation, as well as the conduit for the flow of information between the client and the Client Operations team.
o Use SNS tools & team: leverage the full SNS Client Operations team and the tools they build and maintain to efficiently and consistently provide SNS’s standard of service to our clients.
o Execute monthly client meetings: provide CFO-level expertise on behalf of SNS for clients’ monthly financial reviews and forward-looking strategy discussions.
o Construct and deliver ad hoc financial analyses: provide Financial Planning & Analysis expertise as one-off questions arise between the monthly meetings
o Serve as Fractional Controller: recommend and implement accounting processes, as well as review monthly close process steps for correctness and consistency.
Technical Skills:
o Financial Planning and Analysis (required): 5+ years building and working with financial models
o Advanced Excel competency (required)
o Accounting concepts (required): familiarity with GAAP accounting concepts
o QuickBooks Online experience (preferred)
Experience:
o Finance leadership (required): our fCFOs’ strength is in translating complicated financial concepts into the bullet points entrepreneurs can understand and use to drive business decisions.
o Experience leading a team (required): our fCFOs lead the SNS Client Operations team for each of their clients, ensuring the team meets deadlines and consistently delivers the SNS standard of service.

o SNS is headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. We are open to in-person, hybrid, and remote working arrangements.

We are willing to discuss full-time, part-time, hybrid, or remote working arrangements.
