What is Series Next Solutions? 

Series Next Solutions (SNS) is based in New Orleans, and we get business owners out of the Finance seat by delivering data-driven finance and accounting solutions. SNS liberates leadership teams to pursue their companies' core missions by providing Executive-level Finance and Accounting expertise on a fractional basis, at a price point that fits in growing companies' budgets. 

What role would I play at SNS? 

You would be part of our client-facing team, providing bookkeeping services to your assigned clients. These services include categorizing bank and credit card transactions on a weekly basis for each client, using Excel tools we build for you to calculate and record journal entries, and annually submitting form 1099s in QuickBooks Online for your clients at the end of January. This role ensures that our clients’ accounting records are consistently up-to-date so that they have an accurate picture of the health of their business.  (This role does not include running payroll, accepting payments, billing customers, etc - our clients have their own back office staff for these tasks.)

This is a great role for you if you: 

• have a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, (required) 
• have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (required) 
• enjoy a collaborative environment focused on knowledge sharing and support (required) 
• are able to prioritize assignments and complete them on a deadline (required) 
• have previous experience with QuickBooks Online or some other accounting software (preferred)

This is a 1099 position offering $18-23 per hour, commensurate with experience. You determine how many clients you want to take on, and as long as deadlines are met you can set hours that work for you.  Our Bookkeepers are an integral part of our team and typically partner with us for at least two years.  Include “I’m ready to scale with SNS!” somewhere in your cover letter to make us smile.
