Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment with a co-teacher, for young children, facilitating their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddlers
- Supervise and engage with children in indoor and outdoor play
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist with meal times, diaper changes, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check (Serendipity Creek Childcare Center complies with regulations that prohibit inquiring about criminal backgrounds)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
