As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in amplifying Sentinel’s brand presence and growing market share. You’ll create compelling content, drive marketing campaigns, and collaborate across teams to highlight our cutting-edge solutions. This is a hybrid position, based near Ithaca, NE, or Dothan, AL, giving you the flexibility to support both regional and national marketing efforts.

Description

Responsibilities

Content Creation

o  Develop and execute marketing campaigns and content for multiple channels (social media, email newsletters, blogs, and website updates).

o  Craft engaging and informative materials that communicate the value of Sentinel’s technology and services.

o  Support our distributors with collateral and content that helps them grow their business.


Digital Presence

o Manage Sentinel's digital presence through our website, social media, and other digital platforms

o Incorporate digital marketing efforts as appropriate to expand brand awareness and drive conversions


Campaign Management

o  Lead targeted marketing campaigns that generate demand amongst precision agriculture professionals, seed dealers, crop consultants, and growers.

o  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and ensure successful customer engagement.

o  Coordinate campaigns to include multiple forms of media channels, communication styles, etc.


Event Support and Coordination

o  Organize, promote, and support events such as the Sentry Network Summit to showcase Sentinel’s products and services.

o  Coordinate logistics, marketing collateral, and attendee engagement for events.


Market Research & Strategy

o  Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to continuously refine marketing strategies.

o  Provide market insights to optimize campaigns and ensure alignment with Sentinel’s goals and customer needs.


CRM Management

o  Curate Sentinel’s CRM alongside other customer development personnel to maintain contact and company records, develop distribution lists, and enable customer segmentation

o  Use Sentinel’s CRM to facilitate communications campaigns, create customer distribution lists, and empower customer engagement.


Brand Management

o  Create and maintain brand guidelines, templates, and packages

o  Create and maintain documentation on our brand including value propositions, customer problems, and other aspects of brand positioning.


Metrics & Reporting

o  Track and analyze marketing performance to identify areas for improvement and ROI.

o  Report on campaign outcomes and adjust strategies accordingly.


Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, agriculture, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, and/or graphic design (including as an intern), preferably in agriculture, technology, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey complex ideas in simple terms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and grow quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or communications in agriculture.
  • Experience working with B2B customer segments and industries such as agriculture, technology, or sustainability.
  • Familiarity with precision agriculture, agronomy concepts, and machinery.
  • Graphic design or video editing experience.
  • Proficiency in project management and CRM tools.

Compensation, Benefits, and Schedule

Salary: $48,000

Commission and Equity Eligible

$48,000 - $48,000 per year
