Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Behavior Technician (BT)

As a Behavior Technician on our team, you'll have a crucial role in promoting socially significant change for clients in the clinic and community. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing the treatment plan written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, focusing on increasing socially appropriate behavior, fostering independence, and reducing maladaptive behaviors. Skills are taught to clients through a variety of curriculums, activities, play and individualized protocols. Capturing accurate data on progress towards goals using our data collection software is a crucial aspect of this job to track client’s progress and intervention effectiveness. Responsibilities

  • Providing direct one-on-one aba therapy in clinic and in the community by implementing individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
  • Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols to promote social skills, emotional regulation and essential functional living skills.
  • Collect accurate data using data collection software to monitor client’s progress towards treatment plan goals
  • Write professional and object session notes to accurately document activities, client responses, and progress during each therapy session.
  • Communicate with client’s parents and guardians in a professional manner
  • Accept and Implement Feedback from Case Manager and Assistant Case Manager
  • Complete trainings and attend team meetings 

Requirements

Availability

  • 7:45am-7:15pm
  • Monday-Friday
  • Technicians are scheduled between 34-40 hours per week.

Other

  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Adhere to RBT Ethics Code and HIPAA

Physical

  • 18 or older
  • Ability to sit and rise from the floor continuously
  • Ability to operate in a physically active environment 
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs from the floor

Education

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Completion of RBT 40 Hour Training within one month of hire. Obtain RBT certification within 2 months of hire. 

Pay Range:

  • BT $18-$20
  • RBT $21-$27


Salary

$18 - $27 per hour
