As a Behavior Technician at SSBH, you will play a vital role in creating meaningful, life-changing progress for our clients. Working in our clinic, you will implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, focusing on building socially appropriate behaviors, fostering independence, and reducing maladaptive behaviors. You'll engage clients using diverse curriculums, interactive activities, play, and individualized protocols tailored to their needs. A key part of your responsibilities will involve accurately capturing data using our specialized software to measure progress toward goals and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Responsibilities

  • Providing direct one-on-one aba therapy in our clinic by implementing individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
  • Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols to promote social skills, emotional regulation and essential functional living skills.
  • Collect accurate data using data collection software to monitor client’s progress towards treatment plan goals
  • Write professional and object session notes to accurately document activities, client responses, and progress during each therapy session.
  • Communicate with client’s parents and guardians in a professional manner
  • Accept and Implement Feedback from Case Manager and Assistant Case Manager
  • Complete trainings and attend team meetings

Requirements

  • Open availability Monday-Friday, 7:45 am - 7:15 pm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and problem solving skills.
  • Reliable transportation to work locations.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Adherence to the RBT Ethics Code and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Obtain RBT certification by the specified deadline. Training is provided by the company and it will need to be completed on your own unpaid time.
  • Knowledge of Google applications.
  • Knowledge of Canva (preferred).
  • Ability to sit/stand at a desk for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (some college preferred).
  • 18 years or older.
  • Ability to sit and rise from the floor continuously
  • Ability to operate in a physically active environment 
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs from the floor


Schedule

  • Technicians are scheduled between 34-40 hours per week.
  • Work with 2-4 clients each week
  • Scheduled lunches and breaks
  • 15 minutes of paid prep time and 15 minutes of paid note writing time per session
  • Work days range between 5.5 hours-9.5 hours depending on the schedule you are assigned


Pay Range:

BT $18-$20

RBT $21-$27


Salary

$18 - $27 per hour
