Position Summary


The Residential Clear Specialist is a hands-on team role focused on the physical and organizational aspects of clearing a client’s home. Working under the guidance of a team lead or manager, you’ll help evaluate and sort items for donation, disposal, auction, delivery, or other services—always keeping the client’s wishes at the center of your work. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and meaningful, client-focused service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-site home clear-out operations as part of a field team.
  • Sort, pack, and prepare household items for donation, recycling, auction, or disposal.
  • Follow clear instructions from leads or managers to ensure client preferences are honored.
  • Provide respectful and empathetic support to clients and their families during what can be an emotional process.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Help with basic record-keeping or labeling to track items and project progress.
  • Represent the company positively and professionally in client homes and donation/auction locations.


Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in moving services, home clean-outs, estate sales, customer service, or a related field (or equivalent volunteer/community experience).
  • Experience operating larger vehicle or equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50lbs routinely throughout a shift.
  • Comfortable being on your feet for up to 8 hours, bending lifting, twisting,
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow directions.
  • Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling household items.
  • Empathy and professionalism when interacting with seniors and their families.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Salary

$19 - $22 per hour
