Join a family owned company with flexible hours! We're looking for a caring, compassionate, Lead Relocation Specialist in the Madison area.

Segues (Seg-Ways) has been providing full-service, senior move management for over 20 years. No matter where you are in your own downsizing, moving, settling in or clearing out process, we help our clients and their families lighten the load!

SUMMARY: The Lead Relocation Specialist position reports directly to the Director of Operations. They are responsible for meeting with clients and then managing their entire move process, including but not limited to meeting with clients and their family, coordinating the movers, vendors, auctioneers, realtors, and Segues staff to ensure that we meet the expectations of the client(s) and stay within our proposed budget as well as completing the task in a safe and efficient manner. The person we are seeking to join the Segues family must possess strong organizing, customer service, and planning skills as well as take an active leadership role in communicating with the client(s) and support customer requirements/requests.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consistently follow, support, and enforce safe work practices and company policies.
  • Communicate with clients and staff in a professional, informative, and timely manner.
  • Schedule and provide consults with clients and their families. Consults include providing a reasonable estimate based on what is discussed with the client during their consult as well as delivering client contracts and collecting down payment.
  • Utilize planning skills to develop acceptable floor plans with client prior to their move.
  • Market Segues business throughout the community                                             
  • Assist in training staff members as well as provide coaching and feedback as necessary.
  • Create a finalized invoice once job is completed and collect final payments                                
  • Track and report hours accurately so client can be invoiced appropriately.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma Required.  
  • Supervisory experience and/or formal education in supervision or management desired.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a moving, self-motivated environment desired.
  • Experience with project management and a business owner mentality desired.

 

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Represents Segues professionally.
  • Requires the ability to Travel throughout central Wisconsin and haul boxes/supplies to the job sites as well as operate various office equipment to include a computer, copier, scanner, printer, phone, etc.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office helpful.
