Senior Adoption Consultant, Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace

Role Description

The Senior Adoption Consultant is the critical role in any change-related project, responsible for designing and delivering programs that communicate value and ensure success criteria are achieved. The role works directly with partners to define the correct approach to each client specific to their unique situation and transformational journey, design and execute communication and training plans with excellence, and apply customer success management principles to show clients the value of the services they received. This positions the Senior Consultant as a brand ambassador of Seer, a change agent within partner and customer organizations, and a trusted advisor to line of business leaders.


  • Articulate the value proposition and process for software adoption and end user change management to executive-level clients, partners, and skeptics.
  • Collaborate with client and partner teams to develop and implement employee-focused change management strategies.
  • Build project plans to detail tasks, timeline, responsibility, risk, and contingency.
  • Design an approach to analyze business requirements, processes, and risks for a technology implementation.
  • Engage senior management in the communication of changes to employees with rich text and graphics.
  • Facilitate meetings that display confidence, command attention, and accomplish desired outcomes.
  • Identify gaps in employee knowledge or competency needed to support future-state processes.
  • Deliver workshops and trainings to end, power, and executive users in multiple modalities.
  • Create assessments, quizzes, and surveys to capture user feedback, ideas, and responses to change campaigns and learning.
  • Demonstrate soft skills for building collaborative relationships, communicating credibility, influencing others, active listening, overcoming resistance, and resolving conflicts.
  • Demonstrate hard skills for documenting, diagramming, planning, and reporting.
  • Exhibit proper etiquette under all circumstances.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, instructional design, organizational development, or learning and development
  • 4-7 years of consulting experience or an equivalent role exercising business acumen across three or more industry verticals
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business
  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner or Microsoft Service Adoption Specialist Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Dynamics 365 Sales Hub, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Project for Web, or Microsoft Viva Suite
  • Experience facilitating Customer Immersion Experiences or Accelerator Workshops
  • Business analysis skills
  • Project management skills
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900), or Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) certification
