Seed & Smith Store Manager Denver, CO · Full time

The Store Manager is responsible for leading all daily operations of our dispensary with a focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering a premium customer experience that reflects our brand values. As a key member of the leadership team, the Store Manager will be responsible not only for overseeing all front-of-house operations but also for driving strategic initiatives, including the development and execution of innovative marketing proposals, optimizing purchasing and inventory management processes, and administering budtender training and development programs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented and a proactive leader with a passion for cannabis, a strong business acumen, and a proven ability to motivate and mentor staff in a fast-paced retail environment.

Required Working Schedule: Monday - Friday (weekends as needed); 

9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.


Reports To: Director of Operations

 

Position Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to): 

  • Manage all retail staff and enforce company policies
  • Schedule retail team efficiently to ensure seamless operations, maximize productivity, and provide excellent customer service
  • Train retail staff on product knowledge, customer service skills and sales strategy to optimize ADT
  • Inventory management in both METRC and Flowhub, including auditing and product entry
  • Order reception, labeling and entry
  • Collaborate with Marketing department on retail marketing initiatives
  • Promotion and deal entry into various digital platforms
  • Oversee cash management, place change orders and handle cash deposits
  • Work with third party vendors to place orders and make decisions on products offered
  • MED and loyalty customer registration
  • Customer loyalty entry and maintenance
  • Ensure dispensary is clean and well-maintained
  • Other tasks as needed


Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Follow the guidelines and expectations set forth by the Employee Guidelines and SOP’s
  • Must possess a valid MED badge or be able to obtain one
  • Positive attitude, solutions-oriented and customer service expert are expected
  • Cannabis experience a plus
  • Retail experience required

 

Physical Demands:

  • Lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
  • Stand for multiple hours


Compensation & Benefits:    

  • Compensation Range: $60,000 - $65,000 (depending on experience)
