SUMMARY:

Using light/small machinery (e.g. cutting saws, grinders, soldering irons, etc.), the successful candidate will make key components of our transducers and devices as well as perform testing at interim and final stages of production. Another key job duty of the Assembler is to document procedures and processes. This position reports to our Production Manager; the successful candidate will train with our manufacturing staff, which has significant experience in transducer and medical device manufacturing.

JOB DUTIES:

• Use small-scale tools and equipment such as cutting saws, grinders, and soldering irons to fabricate components
• Build essential parts for transducers and medical devices according to specifications
• Perform interim and final testing of components and finished products to ensure quality and functionality
• Accurately record manufacturing procedures, processes, and test results as part of quality assurance
• Adhere to established production protocols and safety standards.
• Work closely with other manufacturing team members during day-to-day operations, training, and on-the-job tasks
• Provide updates and feedback directly to the Production Manager regarding production progress and issues
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working with small tools and light machinery
• Ability to follow assembly instructions and document new procedures and processes
• High school diploma (or working towards high school diploma), or equivalent
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable attendance during regular business hours
• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures, safety requirements, and other prescribed best practices/industry standards
• Based on job duties, background checks (criminal, employment/reference) may be performed; results must be satisfactory to the company
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred

PAY AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $17.00-$30.00 per hour; depending on qualifications/experience

FLSA Status: Full Time Non-Exempt
