Part-Time Bookkeeper – Construction & Trades Experience Required

📍 Location: Duncanville, Texas (In-Office)

Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

💰 Pay: $21 per hour

What You’ll Do

  • Manage bookkeeping for construction & trades businesses, including job costing and other types of clients.
  • Set up new clients in QuickBooks Online using predefined templates.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain accounts payable & receivable and process payments.
  • Assist with payroll processing for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Work with clients via phone, email, and chat to gather financial information.
  • Assist with tax-related tasks such as data entry for tax returns and preparing reports.


What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience (construction & trades industry experience required).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (you should be able to navigate it with ease).
  • Strong understanding of job costing and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing high transaction volumes and multiple client accounts.
  • Knowledge of GAAP or other accounting standards.
  • Strong communication skills – you’ll be working with clients regularly.
