The Role: Freelance Photographer

We’re looking for a creative photography partner based in the Denver or Aspen area to capture a high-end, lifestyle-forward shoot at a luxury resort in Beaver Creek, Colorado this September.

The photographer will be responsible for an 8-hour production day, capturing a minimum of 100 polished, brand-aligned images across the property, alongside talent/models.

A Screen Pilot Team Member will be on-site throughout the shoot to guide the overall production, move the team between locations, and keep the day aligned to the shot list and creative direction. The photographer will be trusted to take the lead creatively within each setup, including directing talent as needed to achieve the strongest imagery.

Following production, the photographer will complete light editing and deliver final photography assets to the Screen Pilot team.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lifestyle & Hospitality Photography: Capture 8 hours of high-quality, social-forward photography across the resort, incorporating talent, amenities, food and beverage, guestrooms, and the surrounding destination as outlined in the creative brief. (The day is about 10-12 with breaks for lunch, dinner or sun included depending on property’s scheduling).
  • Pre-Production: Coordinate with our Production Lead ahead of the shoot and review the creative brief, moodboard, shot list, schedule, and production details via email exchanges or calls.
  • Talent Direction: Work confidently with talent/models on-site and direct them as needed to achieve natural, elevated imagery. 
  • Editing & Post-Production: Complete light editing and deliver polished, brand-standard photography assets. A minimum of 100 final images is expected. Hyatt Brand Standards.
  • On-Site Collaboration: Work closely with the Screen Pilot Team Member or Production Lead throughout the day to move efficiently between locations and ensure the shot list is executed with strong variety and coverage.
  • Brand Alignment: Capture imagery that feels elevated, natural, authentic, and appropriate for luxury hospitality and social media marketing.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 4+ years of professional photography experience, ideally with a focus on hospitality, resorts, lifestyle brands, and social media marketing.
  • Hospitality Experience: Experience shooting for Marriott, Hyatt, or other major luxury hotel portfolios is a strong plus.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing hotel, resort, lifestyle, food and beverage, and talent-driven photography.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced photography skills and ownership of professional camera equipment, lenses, batteries, camera bags, and any other equipment required for the production.
  • Creative Eye: Strong understanding of composition, natural talent, direction, lighting, and creating imagery that feels elevated while remaining authentic.
  • Location: Based in or near Denver or Aspen, Colorado, with the flexibility to travel to Beaver Creek.
