The Role:
The Creative Video Editor (Paid Media) is responsible for ideating, creating, and executing high-performing, social-first video content across paid media campaigns + owned social channels for our travel and hospitality portfolio. Suited for a highly creative and fast-moving thinker, this role transforms strategic direction into scroll-stopping, platform-native content that drives measurable performance.
Acting as the bridge between strategy and execution, the Creative Video Editor (Paid Media) partners closely with Client Leadership and Paid Media teams to bring campaign ideas to life through compelling video, static copy, and creative variations. You will own the full creative lifecycle—from concept to execution to iteration—ensuring content is not only visually engaging, but optimized for how people actually consume content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Meta.
What You’ll be Doing:
Creative Ideation: Translating briefs and performance goals into multiple social-first concepts, including hooks, formats, and messaging angles tailored to awareness, engagement, and conversion objectives.
Content Creation: Producing and editing short-form video content (Reels, TikTok-style, paid social ads) using existing assets, UGC-style footage, and platform-native editing tools to create engaging, high-quality creative.
Strategic Messaging & Social Copy: Writing scroll-stopping hooks, captions, and paid social ad copy that balance brand voice with platform-native tone, while developing multiple variations for testing.
Performance Iteration: Developing multiple variations of creative and iterating quickly based on performance insights, partnering closely with Account Leads to continuously refine and improve results.
Platform-Native Expertise & Execution: Ensuring all content aligns with platform best practices, trends, and user behavior, while staying ahead of emerging formats and cultural moments.
Integrated Collaboration: Partnering with Client Leadership, Performance Marketing, Social Media, Design, & Content teams to align on objectives, translate briefs into execution, and deliver cohesive, high-performing campaigns.
Workflow Management: Managing multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistent output of fresh, testable creative across campaigns.
What We’re Looking For:
2–5 years of experience: Background in social content creation, creative, or paid social roles, ideally within an agency or fast-paced brand environment.
Concept-First Thinker: You can take a brief and quickly generate multiple, distinct creative ideas that are tailored to platform behavior.
Hands-On Creator: Strong video editing and content creation skills using tools like CapCut and Premiere Pro (required), After Effects and Figma (a plus)
Platform Fluency: Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram and Facebook ad formats, with a clear understanding of what drives engagement and performance.
Performance Mindset: You understand how creative impacts paid social performance and are comfortable iterating based on data and feedback.
Speed + Quality Balance: Ability to move quickly while maintaining a high standard of creative execution and attention to detail.
The "Juggler" Mindset: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously.
