Provides front desk and pretesting assistance to patients presenting for optometric care at our practice.
• Welcomes patients and potential patients by greeting them in person or on the telephone/email; answering or directing inquiries
• Accurately schedules patient appointments and receives/enters patient intake/insurance information
• Ensures that all contacts with patients (e-mail, walk-In or phone) provides the patient with a personalized experience of the highest level
• Manages office duties assigned by the chief executive officer in an effective and timely manner
• Consistently stays abreast of any new information on the organization’s services, etc. to ensure accurate and helpful information is supplied to patients when they make enquiries
• Responsible for managing/directing our patients in the office
• Assists the optometrist in pre-testing patients and filing insurance claims
• Optical, healthcare, computer/data entry experience preferred
$16 - $22 per hour
