Position Summary

The Studio Coordinator is the administrative focal point for the School of Rock, providing outstanding customer service while managing multiple operational tasks. Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves supporting daily school operations and creating an exceptional experience for students, parents, and prospective customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Operations

  • Manage complex scheduling for a busy music school environment
  • Handle school opening and closing procedures according to established protocols
  • Assist General Manager/Owner with various operational tasks as assigned
  • Complete special projects, prepare reports, and handle administrative duties including billing support
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Customer Service and Sales

  • Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
  • Answer phones professionally and respond to inquiries about music programs
  • Schedule and conduct tours for prospective students and parents
  • Present School of Rock programs to potential customers
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to current families

Student Support

  • Supervise and assist students in common areas
  • Ensure student safety and adherence to school policies
  • Support positive learning environment for all students

Compliance and Safety

  • Adhere to School of Rock Code of Conduct and all safety policies
  • Follow Monitoring and Supervision policy requirements
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations


Required Qualifications

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in front desk, reception, or customer service roles
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Welcoming, outgoing personality with professional demeanor
  • Strong team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in music and related arts
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Previous experience in educational or recreational settings
  • Spanish language skills (helpful but not required)

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Regular interaction with children, parents, and staff
  • Standard office environment with occasional physical activity
  • Evening and weekend hours may be required based on school schedule


Compensation and Benefits

$19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending upon experience
