Position: Marketing Manager
Reports to: President of EduKit
Location: Colorado Springs, CO, Wrentham, MA or remote with travel 10% or as needed
Education: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Marketing, Business, or other relevant field is a strong advantage. Minimum of 3 years proven experience in marketing management, preferably in the education sector or related industries.
Required Experience: Google Analytics, Excel ninja, social media advertising and relationship management, budget management, email campaigns, experience with all social media platforms.
Highly Desired: Experience in the K-12 school sector, proficiency in CRM tools (NetSuite and HubSpot)
Career Level: First-level management
Salary: Salaried/Exempt $55K - $80K commensurate with experience
Essential responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives and budgets to enhance brand visibility and market share within the K-12 education sector.
Budget Development and Management: Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and report monthly projections to optimize resource allocation and achieve goals. Minimize marketing costs while maximizing lead generation and optimizing results.
Digital Marketing Management: Oversee digital marketing campaigns, generate leads and engage with key stakeholders.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create compelling marketing collateral, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and product descriptions. Improve brand awareness and reengagement among customer audiences. Work in partnership with SFM internal teams to develop materials and messaging that resonate with various audiences.
Data Analysis: Utilize excellent Excel and analytical skills to assess campaign performance, ROI, and market trends, providing insights to optimize marketing strategies.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Leverage expertise in NetSuite, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools to manage customer data, track interactions, and implement targeted communication strategies.
Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed process documents outlining marketing workflows, ensuring consistency, and facilitating smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
External Resource Management: Manage relationships with external digital marketing consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with organizational goals. Stay up to date with innovative marketing trends and strategies. Work closely with the sales department to optimize messaging and support customer sales journey.
Email Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to existing customers, prospects, and parent customers, employing segmentation and personalization strategies.
Event Management: Plan and coordinate participation in relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand presence and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
