Saylor seeks a whip-smart, innovative, and social media-obsessed Strategist to help take our marketing campaigns to the next level.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an energetic, creative thinker who’s passionate about telling a great story across all content platforms and has experience across a wide variety of entertainment brands. Not only do you love pitching exciting ideas, but you love backing them up with data and insights for a comprehensive brand or campaign strategy.

 

The Strategist will work directly with the Accounts and Strategy departments to pitch, script, execute, and publish content across all current and emerging social platforms for our clients. They will help define social content strategies; manage editorial calendars and write social copy; engage directly with followers via community management; publish content; and regularly report on content performance as well as trends to optimize future posts.

 

We are looking for a true Internet native who “lives” on social media and is always up-to-date on the latest trends. The ideal candidate has exceptional editorial instincts, sound judgment, and the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.

Location: This is a hybrid role that works 3 days per week from our office in Echo Park, Los Angeles. 


 

Responsibilities:

●     Manage editorial calendars across multiple platforms, which includes recommending strategic posting dates, drafting copy, tracking live links, and more

●     Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials

●     Revise copy based on internal and client feedback

●     Collaborate with a team of account managers/coordinators and creative staff, from concept development to delivery of final product

●     Pitch concepts, copy, and final deliverables to internal team members and external partners

●     Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for pitch decks and ongoing retainers

●     Publish content across all social platforms; and report on said content via tools like native insights, Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, and Sprout

●     Often collaborate with a Strategy Coordinator to schedule, draft, and post content across multiple social platforms

●     Identify and develop audience insights to inform overall strategic direction, as well as optimize content performance

●     Present strategy decks in-person and/or via video chat to clients

●     Maintain a working knowledge of key industry trends and projects to inform creative strategy for the group

 

Minimum Requirements:

●     2-4 years experience in social media management and digital marketing

●     Exceptional writing and research skills

●     Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines

●     Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability

●     Demonstrated experience developing a brand voice/strategy and building social audiences

●     Deep knowledge of social media best practices and current trends

●     Familiarity with publishing and social reporting tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, Google Trends, Meta Business Suite, and native insights across platforms

●     Demonstrated analytical skills

●     Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience presenting to clients

●     Experience overseeing projects from inception to completion

●     Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities

●     Experience with Photoshop, Figma, or similar photo editing software a plus

Salary

$75,000 - $90,000 per year
