Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring clear and accurate images
- Perform dental charting, record medical histories, and update patient records as necessary
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral healthcare instructions
- Assist in the administration of dental anesthesia and other medications as directed by the dentist
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve practice goals
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain strict compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- State of Ohio X-ray Certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a dental assistant
- Valid CPR certification
- Proficiency in dental terminology, equipment, and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Expected hours: 32 – 34 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
