Save Our Youth Mentor Recruitment Coordinator Denver, CO · Full time

Save Our Youth recruits mentors through church partnerships, organizational partnerships, networks of individuals, and social media marketing. The Mentor Recruitment Coordinator will be involved in execution of current strategies in these realms as well as creating additional strategies within these and other areas. This position will strategize effective and creative ways of recruiting mentors, follow-up mentor inquiries, participate in recruiting events, and build strong relationships with partners.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Increase the number of church partnerships and facilitate recruitment events with those partners.
  • Cultivate and deepen the partnerships of churches at various stages in partnership with Save Our Youth.
  • Conduct individual meetings with stakeholders for the purpose of individual recruitment into their networks. To include current mentors, former mentors, alumni, and others.
  • Assist in cultivation and collaboration efforts with church partners.
  • Attend recruiting events at churches, businesses, or other partner locations.
  • Engage with potential mentors in initial screening conversations, tracking progress, and diligently following up.
  • Assist in social media and web-based recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborate with Mentor Recruitment Manager to establish special recruitment events.
  • Track and report on mentor recruitment efforts as assigned.
  • Perform long-term follow-up with mentor leads.
  • Facilitate spiritual duties as needed, including praying with mentors and partners, leading Bible devotions, etc.
  • Contribute to a team approach by accomplishing other duties as assigned.

  • Have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
  • Available to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $19.66 - $22.60/hour.
  • Health and Dental Insurance are 100% covered for employee, dependents may be added at employee cost.
  • PTO: Flexible PTO plan for vacation, personal, and sick time; 11 paid holidays (includes employee’s birthday each year); paid office closure from Dec 24th – Jan 1st annually; and 2nd Friday each month individual spiritual retreat.
