Key Responsibilities:

• Load, transport, and deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
• Follow routes and time schedules to ensure deliveries are completed according to the company’s service standards.
• Inspect and operate delivery vehicles, ensuring that they are maintained in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Assist with sorting and loading packages when necessary.
• Report any vehicle issues, delivery discrepancies, or other concerns to the Service Manager promptly.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on best practices and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes in the Savannah, GA area.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
