We're small by design. Every engagement is led by senior operators who've done this work in real environments. No B-team, no junior staff carrying the load while a partner collects the fee. When a client works with Satine, they get the people they talked to.


We're building our commercial sales motion from the ground up, and this hire is a foundational part of that build. We're looking for someone who wants to grow into owning that motion over time; not someone who needs it to already exist.


The Role

You'll help build the commercial revenue motion at Satine. That means sourcing and qualifying new engagements with mid-market security and IT decision-makers, running deals through the sales cycle with support from technical and executive leadership, and developing into an owner of client relationships as you grow into the role.


This is not a top-of-funnel-only role. You'll work real deals end-to-end with coaching and backup from Satine's partners, apply the relationship-led, no-RFP selling instincts you already have to this market, and build toward running the full client lifecycle independently. The cyber knowledge you don't have going in, you'll learn. 


You'll be one of the first dedicated commercial sellers at Satine. If you want a fully built territory and a proven, repeatable pipeline on day one, this isn't that role. What You'll Do

  • Source and develop commercial pipeline through your professional network, referral communities, and targeted outbound outreach, by building long-term relationships with prospects and clients
  • Run qualifying conversations and move deals through the sales cycle, with technical and executive leadership brought in for discovery and scoping where operator credibility matters
  • Support client relationships post-close: attend readouts, help run check-ins, and learn how follow-on and expansion conversations are developed
  • Work alongside channel partners who refer or co-deliver with us to develop joint pipeline
  • Document every meaningful conversation in our CRM the same day
  • Take on increasing ownership of the client relationship lifecycle as you build track record and tenure


What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 3–5 years of relationship-based B2B sales experience in professional services: accounting, consulting, legal, financial advisory, technology services, or similar
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and progressing deals with senior decision-makers, even if you handed off delivery or post-close ownership to others
  • An existing professional network in the Atlanta market, ideally with some overlap into mid-market security, IT, finance, operations, or the advisors who serve those functions
  • Genuine comfort selling complex professional services to senior stakeholders on trust rather than process. This is a requirement, not a skill you'll develop here 
  • Comfort operating in a small firm: no marketing team generating inbound, no SDR running sequences for you, no established playbook to execute against


You Might Be a Fit If You:

  • Have a few years of professional services sales experience in Atlanta and want to bring your network to a firm with a genuinely differentiated story
  • Come from a larger firm and want more ownership and upside than a sourcing-only or junior sales role offers
  • Want to develop into the relationship-owner on your accounts rather than handing everything to a delivery team
  • Have used trust-based referral networks to build pipeline before and know what that actually takes, not just worked leads someone else generated 
  • Are motivated by uncapped upside and want to grow your earning potential as you grow into a senior closer


Not Required:

  • Cybersecurity experience. You'll learn our offerings. What matters is that you can earn trust with senior decision-makers and recognize when they have a problem we can solve.
  • A fully proven track record of owning the entire client lifecycle solo — we'll help you build toward that. (The ability to sell on trust without an RFP, however, is required: see above.) 


What You're Selling

Fixed-fee and retainer-based offensive security assessments, advisory engagements, and incident response for mid-market organizations. Defined scope, defined deliverables, clear outcomes. You'll be helping clients answer the cybersecurity questions that keep them up at night. You won't be expected to carry these deals alone: technical and executive leadership are part of the sales motion with you, especially early on. 


Compensation and Structure

OTE: $150,000 to $175,000. Base is 50% of OTE; the other 50% is variable.

Commission structure: Lower rate on new logo revenue, higher rate on renewals and expansion from accounts you originate. No cap.

Draw: Recoverable commission draw during 90-day ramp period.

Relationship continuity: Accounts you originate continue paying at the higher commission rate for as long as you're with Satine.

Location

Remote to start. Once our new Atlanta office opens (planned late 2026), this role transitions to hybrid. If you're not in Atlanta or willing to relocate, this isn't the right fit. The network motion requires being in the room.
