Overview

Relate Dental Care is a growing private practice in Culver City providing comprehensive general dentistry with a strong focus on prevention, preservation, and long-term oral health. We believe in saving and preserving natural teeth whenever possible and restoring only when necessary.

Our practice is built around thoughtful diagnosis, clear patient education, and treatment that is appropriate to each patient's individual needs. We have a predominantly adult patient population and provide a broad range of preventive, restorative, and comprehensive general dentistry in a modern, well-supported clinical environment.

We are seeking a full-time Associate General Dentist who is clinically thoughtful, patient-centered, collaborative, and committed to continued growth. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing quality dentistry, communicates well with patients and the team, and understands that excellent care starts with listening, sound diagnosis, and doing what is right for the patient.

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry with an emphasis on diagnosis, prevention, preservation, and minimally invasive treatment.
• Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients through clear communication and genuine care.
• Diagnose and present treatment options based on each patient's individual needs.
• Perform a broad range of general dentistry procedures within your clinical scope and experience.
• Work collaboratively with our dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative team to provide a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation and follow established practice protocols.
• Participate in a team culture built around accountability, communication, coachability, and continuous improvement.

 

What We’re Looking For

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active California dental license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical fundamentals and sound diagnostic judgment.
• Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills.
• Commitment to conservative, evidence-based dentistry and preserving natural tooth structure whenever clinically appropriate.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the entire team.
• Comfortable treating a broad range of adult general dentistry patients.
• Candidates with experience outside of school are preferred, but we are open to the right early-career dentist with strong clinical fundamentals and a growth mindset.

 

Clinical Scope

We are primarily a general dentistry practice and see a predominantly adult patient population. Our associate dentists may provide treatment including:

• Comprehensive examinations and treatment planning
• Preventive and periodontal care
• Direct restorative dentistry
• Crowns and bridges
• Endodontic treatment
• Extractions
• Prosthodontic treatment
• Occlusal care
• Clear aligner treatment
• Other procedures appropriate to the dentist's training and clinical experience

You do not need to be an expert in every procedure listed above. We value sound judgment, knowing your clinical limits, and a willingness to continue developing your skills.
