The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our clinical team in Santa Cruz. This role is well-suited for someone who values a well-organized environment, clear clinical roles, and high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• Consistent, organized daily flow

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting for general and restorative procedures
• Assist during oral sedation cases, including setup, monitoring support, and post-procedure workflow
• Room setup, breakdown, and sterilization
• Infection control and operatory organization
• X-rays and charting
• Patient care and comfort support

Role Clarity

• This role includes assisting with oral sedation procedures
• Clear protocols and defined responsibilities are in place to support patient safety and team coordination

What We’re Looking For

• Prior dental assisting experience required
• Experience assisting with oral sedation strongly preferred
• X-ray license required
• Calm, professional, patient-focused demeanor
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Seeking a stable, longer-term assisting position
