We’re looking for PRN (as-needed) RBTs to join Sankofa Behavioral Health and support our team during call-outs, schedule changes, and new case transitions.
This is a flexible role designed for RBTs who want to pick up additional hours without committing to a full caseload.
What This Role Looks Like
- You’ll be contacted when:
- A staff member calls out
- A client has a schedule change
- A new case needs temporary or transitional coverage
- You choose what works for your availability
- No pressure to accept every opportunity
- Work across home, community, or clinic settings
Why This Works (Especially If You’re at Another Company)
- Fill in cancellation gaps from your current job
- Pick up extra hours when you want them
- Gain exposure to play-based, naturalistic ABA models
- Stay connected to the field without burnout
What Makes Sankofa Different
We are not a typical ABA clinic.
- We use play-based, naturalistic approaches (PRT, NET, Rooted Play Praxis™)
- We do not lead with punitive strategies
- We center culture, relationships, and real-life skill building
- We are a communal team—we support each other and hold each other accountable
If you’ve only experienced rigid, table-based ABA… this will feel different.
Requirements
- Active RBT certification
- Experience working with children
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Comfort stepping into new environments and building quick rapport
- Openness to flexibility, collaboration, and non-traditional ABA approaches
Ideal For Someone Who…
- Is currently working part-time or full-time elsewhere
- Experiences frequent cancellations or inconsistent scheduling
- Wants to maximize their income without overcommitting
- Can adapt quickly and step in to support different clients
Quick Reality Check (Because We Believe in Transparency)
This role requires flexibility. Some weeks may have more opportunities than others. It works best for someone who sees this as a supplemental, fill-in role, not their primary income source.
Final Note
If you’re looking for something rigid and predictable, this probably isn’t your lane.
But if you want flexibility, meaningful work, and a team that actually respects both you and the families… this could be a really good fit.
