Position Summary

The BCBA supports the clinical team by managing a caseload of clients receiving ABA services. This includes oversight of RBTs, treatment planning and updates, collaboration with the clinical director, and ensuring Medicaid compliance. The BCBA will also lead parent training sessions and provide guidance to support the integrity and responsiveness of each child’s programming.



Overview: What You’ll Do

  • Provide oversight of BTs and RBTs through virtual platforms
  • Conduct treatment planning and progress updates using naturalistic and play-based interventions (we are currently phasing out of DTT here)
  • Analyze session data and provide direction based on clinical trends
  • Provide direct parent guidance sessions (97156)
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical director and other BCBAs
  • Contribute to joy-based learning by ensuring treatment aligns with Sankofa’s principles: culturally grounded, dignity-affirming, and affirming of neurodivergence


Key Responsibilities

Oversight & Collaboration (50%)

  • Conduct 97155 sessions with RBTs (10-20% per client rate of 97153)
  • Provide performance feedback and guide clinical decision-making
  • Document supervision in alignment with BACB and Medicaid requirements


Program Development & Treatment Planning (40%)

  • Write or revise individualized treatment plans and skill acquisition programs
  • Lead care plan updates and author progress reports
  • Review data weekly and adapt programming based on client progress
  • Ensure programs are culturally responsive and affirming of neurodivergence


Administrative & Team Support (10%)

  • Maintain accurate logs in HiRasmus, TPMS, and Google Workspace
  • Identify client risks or coverage needs and communicate with clinical leadership


Note: The salary is based on 25 hours per week over 52 weeks and should be considered an estimate, not an actual salary. Actual pay depends on BCBA availability/hours worked
