We are seeking Clinical Psychology doctoral practicum students (PsyD/PhD) who want strong training in adult psychotherapy and optional opportunities for psychological and neuropsychological assessment. Students work closely with licensed psychologists who provide structured, developmentally attuned supervision and mentorship.

Description

Training Experience

  • Weekly individual supervision provided by a licensed psychologist
  • Training in treatment planning, case conceptualization, and progress monitoring
  • Optional: Psychological assessment experience (cognitive, personality, diagnostic) based on program requirements and availability

Clinical Population

Practicum students will gain experience with:


  • All age groups
  • Trauma & PTSD
  • Anxiety and depressive disorders
  • Cognitive decline, memory concerns, and neuropsychological referrals
  • Autism evaluations
  • ADHD
  • Academic

Responsibilities

  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
  • Participate in weekly supervision
  • Assist with cognitive/personality test administration, scoring, and report drafting

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a PhD or PsyD program in Clinical Psychology
  • Approval from your program for external practicum placement
  • Strong clinical writing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain ethical and professional standards
  • Ability to complete required hours on-site in Bedford, TX

Schedule & Time Commitment

  • Typically 10–30 hours per week, depending on program requirements

  • This is an unpaid clinical training placement consistent with doctoral practicum expectations
