Description

About Salt & Light:

Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality mental health services that illuminate the path toward healing — offering direction, insight, and clarity so every client feels supported and empowered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based mental health services, including screening, assessment, and treatment planning.
  • Manage psychotherapy intakes and treatment plans for a caseload built from a robust, established referral base — no self-marketing required.
  • Opportunity to facilitate group therapy sessions in addition to individual caseload.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including our Clinical Director and clinical team, on complex cases.
  • Adhere to ethical principles and professional guidelines.
  • Participate in supervision and continuing education programs, with support for specialized training (e.g., EMDR, trauma-focused modalities).

Requirements:

  • Master's-level license in good standing in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
  • Strong skills in psychotherapy intakes and treatment management.
  • Experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, or autism a plus; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Interest or experience in group facilitation a plus.

Work Hours:

  • Flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend (telehealth-only) availability.
  • Combination of in-person and telehealth sessions based on patient preference.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits with employer contributions, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and 401(k).
  • 10 days paid time off.
  • 9 paid holidays.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Administrative support for scheduling, billing, and insurance management — plus ongoing digital and in-person marketing that keeps referrals flowing, so you can focus on clinical work rather than building your own caseload from scratch.
  • Established insurance panel (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Humana, Medicare, Optum/UHC, Superior Health, Wellcare, and more) supporting a steady referral base.
  • Quarterly team meetings with lunch provided.

Schedule:

  • In-person and telehealth, based on patient preference. Weekend telehealth-only scheduling available for therapists who prefer it.
