Radiologist – Remote
Sage Veterinary Imaging is seeking board-certified veterinary radiologists to join our growing teleradiology team. In this role, you will remotely review and validate diagnostic imaging interpretations, ensure quality control, finalize reports, and consult with referring veterinarians on case management and diagnostic findings.
This position serves as a collaborative clinical resource for referring veterinarians and specialists, helping guide patient care through advanced imaging expertise and thoughtful clinical partnership. Key Responsibilities
- Remotely review, evaluate, and interpret radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, and CT studies
- Validate the accuracy and clinical relevance of automated radiograph consultations
- Independently manage caseload while appropriately seeking and providing support within the radiologist team
- Collaborate with referring veterinarians regarding cases and clinical recommendations
- Create Loom videos to help guide referring veterinarians through complex or noteworthy findings
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, workflow optimization, and system improvements
- Stay current on advancements in veterinary radiology, imaging technology, and related best practices
Time Commitment
- Flexible scheduling ranging from as little as 4 hours per week up to full-time, based on demand and the radiologist’s availability
Qualifications
- Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist specializing in small animals (ACVR or EVDI)
- Proficient in interpreting various modalities and providing clinical insights
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in respective state
- Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Fluent English, excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong communicator and collaborative team player
- Passionate about advancing veterinary care through technology
- Committed to continuous learning and professional ethics
- The ability to work effectively remotely with minimal supervision
