2027 Internship Opportunities
SVI is welcoming two Diagnostic Imaging Interns at each of our Texas locations—Round Rock/Austin and Spring/Houston.
With just two interns per location, the program offers meaningful hands-on clinical experience, direct access to board-certified specialists, and personalized mentorship in advanced diagnostic imaging.
The Diagnostic Imaging Internship is a 12-month, hands-on clinical program designed to develop advanced knowledge and skills in diagnostic imaging, with an emphasis on cross-sectional imaging (MRI and CT), neuro-imaging, anesthesia, and sedation.
Interns work alongside board-certified radiologists, neurologists, and experienced veterinarians, actively participating in patient care, imaging procedures, case management, and clinical decision-making.
The program combines practical clinical experience with specialist mentorship and structured education, including radiology/neurology clinical rounds, book clubs, journal clubs, and case discussions.
This internship prepares veterinarians for continued professional growth and advanced training in diagnostic imaging and specialty veterinary medicine.
