Location: Stow, Ohio

Salary Range: $16 to $18 per hour

**Job Overview:**

As a Direct Support Professional at Safe and Secure Homecare, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will provide support and assistance to help our clients live independently and achieve their personal goals.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores

- Support clients in participating in community activities and social events

- Implement individualized care plans and goals

- Monitor and document client progress and report any concerns to supervisors

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must pass a background check (Note: Safe and Secure Homecare does not inquire about criminal backgrounds as per regulation)

- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
