Job Overview:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' quality of life. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help them achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities:

- Assist individuals with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and household chores

- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

- Help clients participate in community activities and social events

- Document clients' progress and communicate any concerns to the care team

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
