Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Day Services Manager to oversee our day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of our day services, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care and engagement in meaningful activities. The Day Services Manager will play a key role in supporting both clients and staff, ensuring the program operates efficiently and in compliance with all regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee and manage the day services program, ensuring all activities are structured, purposeful, and aligned with client goals.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead, supervise, and support a team of direct support professionals and program staff. Provide ongoing training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Client Engagement: Ensure that services provided meet the needs of each individual, supporting their goals for personal development, socialization, and independence.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance with state regulations, Medicaid requirements, and company policies. Ensure proper documentation of client progress, behavior, and any incidents.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance practices to ensure client satisfaction and high standards of care. Regularly review and adjust programming as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Assist in budgeting and managing resources for the day services program. Ensure efficient use of supplies, staffing, and time.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role, preferably in developmental disabilities or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and the challenges faced by individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and ensure quality care.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding services for individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.


Salary

$25 - $30 per hour
