Sacramento Outpatient Recovery Services (SORS) provides compassionate substance use treatment for adolescents ages 13 and older and adults. Our services include ambulatory detox, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient counseling, and medication-assisted treatment. We provide services for substance use and other mental Health disorders.

The Role
As a Clinician II, you will provide therapeutic services to clients in an outpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and client input.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to support client recovery.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and resources for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure client safety.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with outpatient services.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in mental health and substance use treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competency.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
