Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a summer intern. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing economic opportunity and social justice and can adequately deliver on the duties listed below.


Duties

Collaboration

  • Attend daily team meetings and contribute insights based on individual project/task deliverables
  • Integrate summer internship work into broader RYSE priorities in collaboration with team members

Communication

  • Prepare memos, briefs, reports, and presentations to communicate findings
  • Present recommendations to the Founder/CEO, advisors, team members, and other key stakeholders

Problem Solving

  • Proactively identify challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance RYSE policy priorities

Policy Research and Analysis

  • Assist in research and analysis of policy data related to RYSE's priorities
  • Analyze and interpret policy data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to RYSE's priorities


Requirements

  • Passion for economic justice in at least one of the following key sectors: Capital, Climate, Education, Health, Housing, Workforce
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Work in person at the RYSE office in downtown Washington, D.C.
  • Proficient in data research and analysis methods
  • Strong analytical skills (qualitative and/or quantitative)

The Internship Experience

Salary

$2,800 - $3,200 per month
