Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team on a part-time basis. As the Part-Time Marketing Associate/Fellow, you will play a key role in enhancing our online presence and brand recognition. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing economic opportunity and social justice and can adequately deliver on the duties listed below.


Duties

Strategic Communication & Content Development

  • Develop RYSE's marketing strategy, alongside the Founder/CEO and other team members
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and more, based on RYSE priorities
  • Manage and maintain the company website, blog, and social media, including planning, scheduling, writing, editing, and publishing posts on a regular basis
  • Organize and participate in meetings to facilitate dialogue on RYSE-relevant issues with key stakeholders
  • Analyze and interpret data trends, patterns, and insights relevant to RYSE's priorities
  • Effectively communicate complex data through visual aids, such as charts, graphs, and infographics, to enhance understanding and accessibility
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, adapting communication strategies accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned by the Founder/CEO

Collaboration

  • Attend and participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to RYSE's overall priorities
  • Assist in the management and development of the RYSE summer interns
  • Work collaboratively with team members, providing clear and effective communication to ensure alignment on RYSE's marketing strategy

Problem Solving

  • Proactively identify challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance RYSE priorities
  • Explore unconventional approach and out-of-the-box thinking to address complex, evolving issues


Requirements

  • Passion for economic justice in at least one of the following key sectors: Capital, Climate, Education, Health, Housing, Workforce
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or commensurate lived experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer-service orientation and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively work with the Founder/CEO, advisors, and other team members
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to incorporate keywords effectively
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms
  • Proficiency in content management systems and basic image editing tools
  • A portfolio of previous content or writing samples is a plus

Salary range: $15,000 - $25,000 per year
