Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team on a part-time basis. As the Part-Time Business Associate/Fellow, you will play a key role in growing our business. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing economic opportunity and social justice and can adequately deliver on the duties listed below.


Duties

Business Research and Analysis

  • Lead research and analysis of data related to RYSE's priorities
  • Monitor relevant developments and provide timely updates to the Founder/CEO, advisors, and other team members
  • Analyze and interpret data trends, patterns, and insights relevant to RYSE's priorities
  • Effectively communicate complex data through visual aids, such as charts, graphs, and infographics, to enhance understanding and accessibility
  • Stay informed about emerging business trends, adapting communication strategies accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned by the Founder/CEO

Communication

  • Develop blog posts, briefs, memos, reports, presentations, and white paper on business issues and best practices relevant to RYSE priorities
  • Organize and participate in meetings to facilitate dialogue on RYSE-relevant issues with key stakeholders

Collaboration

  • Attend and participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to the overall business development process
  • Assist in the management and development of the RYSE summer interns
  • Work collaboratively with team members, providing clear and effective communication to ensure alignment on RYSE's business strategy

Problem Solving

  • Proactively identify challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance RYSE priorities
  • Explore unconventional approach and out-of-the-box thinking to address complex, evolving issues


Requirements

  • Passion for economic justice in at least one of the following key sectors: Capital, Climate, Education, Health, Housing, Workforce
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or commensurate lived experience
  • Experience interpreting and re-purposing research and best practices for recommendations in a timely and effective manner
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer-service orientation and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively work with the Founder/CEO, advisors, and other team members
  • Strong data research and analysis methods
  • Strong data analytical skills (qualitative and/or quantitative)

Salary range: $15,000 - $25,000 per year
