You will work closely with the PR team to draft content including press releases, media pitches and social content, supporting internal and external communication efforts, helping coordinate logistics for events, campaigns and other programs, and monitoring media coverage and industry trends. Description

Key Responsibilities:


Account Management: Handle key administrative tasks for our client work. Manage team & client schedules, meetings and project timelines, assist in client communications & ensure smooth workflow.


Healthcare Media Relations: Assist in developing and executing media outreach strategies, draft press materials, conduct media outreach and media list development. Manage incoming media inquiries and facilitate timely responses.


Healthcare Social Media Management: Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across platforms. Collaborate with teams on social media campaigns, paid promotion and support influencer outreach and partnerships. 


Healthcare Content Creation: Develop and craft compelling press releases, articles, blog posts and other content tailored to the healthcare industry, effectively communicating our healthcare clients’ key messages and achievements.


Healthcare Event Coordination: Coordinate logistics, manage vendor relationships and ensure seamless execution at client events, including healthcare product launches, conferences, etc. Assist in managing event budgets, timelines and post-event evaluations.


Healthcare Crisis Management: Assist in healthcare crisis communication strategies when necessary, maintaining the healthcare clients’ reputation during challenging times.


Monitoring and Reporting: Track healthcare media coverage and analyze PR metrics specific to the healthcare industry to gauge the success of healthcare PR campaigns for our clients, providing regular reports to management.


Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align healthcare PR efforts for our clients with their goals.


Schedule:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • 8-hour shift
  • 8:30am - 5:30pm PM (in-person)
  • Monday to Friday


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, healthcare, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of PR experience, preferably in serving clients within the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using PR and media monitoring tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for healthcare storytelling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.


Experience:

  • 1-3 agency public relations experience preferred

Salary

$50,000 - $55,000 per year
