As a Medical Affairs Associate at RXMD, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the medical affairs strategy of our healthcare clients. You will work closely with both the medical affairs team and the public relations team to develop and implement strategies that enhance the story, brand and corporate visibility of our healthcare clients. You will engage with target audiences, and build positive relationships with medical experts, policy makers, regulators, and other healthcare stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Handle key administrative tasks for our client work. Manage team & client schedules, meetings and project timelines, assist in client communications & ensure smooth workflow.
Healthcare Content Creation: Develop and craft compelling publications in peer reviewed journals, scientific articles, scientific posters and podium presentations, and other content tailored to the healthcare industry, effectively communicating our healthcare clients’ key messages and achievements.
Healthcare Communications: Analyze and effectively translate information about client products, industry, and coverage. Serve as “resident expert” on clients’ business, products, industry and objectives. Communicate relevant information through various channels including standard response documents, medical publications, presentations, and collateral education. Respond to internal and external enquires and provide analysis and recommendations as needed. Work closely with public relations team on medical milestones as necessary.
Healthcare Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing PR events within the healthcare sector for our clients, such as healthcare product launches, healthcare press conferences, and healthcare trade shows, ensuring healthcare media attendance and coverage.
Healthcare Crisis Management: Assist in healthcare crisis communication strategies when necessary, maintaining the healthcare clients' reputation during challenging times.
Medical Landscape Assessment: Conduct competitive landscape assessments and pipeline analyses for various disease and therapeutic areas. Collect and analyze client data to provide actionable insights. Collate, review, and analyze relevant medical literature analyses. Track and disseminate relevant medical publications.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, clinical development, regulatory, marketing, sales, and product development, to align healthcare medical affairs and public relations efforts for our clients with their goals.
