 Role and Requirements:

·     Lead and Collaborate: Work with talented teammates to design, develop, and execute software programming initiatives, ensuring scalable, production-ready code.

·     Project Management: Manage the software development lifecycle, including planning, organizing, and coordinating work to meet client expectations on time and defect-free.

·     Client and Team Communication: Communicate project statuses and proposals effectively with cross-functional departments, building cohesion among teams.

·     System Analysis and Performance: Analyze data to coordinate the installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems and monitor system performance.

·     Quality Assurance: Apply best practices and standard operating procedures, test new software, fix bugs, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

·     Continuous Improvement: Identify ways to improve our practices and make recommendations to leadership to improve on-time delivery, high quality code, and appropriate capacity planning for sprints.

·     Mentorship: Potentially lead a small team of Software Engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Extensive Experience: At least 10 years of experience as a software engineer, with roles of increasing complexity and responsibility.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with C#, JavaScript, and React (5+ years), and at least 2 years with SQL Azure.
• Versatile Development Skills: Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
• Diverse Expertise: Experience in two or more of the following areas: web application development, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, intelligent character recognition, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
• Effective Communication: Working proficiency and strong communication skills in verbal and written English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Educational Background: BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Expertise: 7+ years of experience with C#, JavaScript, and React.
• Full Stack Experience: 5+ years of experience as a full stack engineer.
• Advanced Education or Experience: Further education or experience in engineering, computer science, or another technical field.
• Programming Skills: Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Accessibility Development: Experience developing accessible technologies.
