The position of Director of Pharma - Sales is an individual contributor position with proven experience selling technology and services to life sciences, big pharma, and biotechnology organizations. This individual will be responsible for acquiring new life sciences customers to support the rapid growth of our company. This is a role that is directly tied to rapidly growing RxLightning’s sales growth, and strong incentives are heavily tied to your ability to help achieve those goals.

 

Responsibilities:


  • Generate new business leads, proactively navigate the prospect opportunity through the sales process and close deals that meet company pricing and gross margin targets.
  • Build and own a robust and targeted life sciences and big pharma pipeline
  • Develop a strategy for each key prospect with a focus on building relationships with key decision makers to ensure maximum program utilization and continued business growth
  • Proactively engage prospects in a dialogue to understand their needs/expectations and to define solutions that best align RxLightning offerings with a client’s business requirements
  • Contribute to and maintain documented internal account maps and plans
  • Prepare, present, negotiate and secure detailed business quotes, proposals, statements of work, Term Agreements etc.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Consistently communicate and build credibility with multiple department contacts within targeted accounts for sponsorship to "C" level or decision-making executives
  • Work collaboratively with all internal resources to become the subject matter expert to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are delivered and maintained.
  • Present RxLightning and products in a professional manner with branding and messaging.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, technologies, etc.

 

Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of selling hub services or technology to Life Sciences executives (consistently closed +$3 million in life sciences sales per year)
  • Strong network of decision makers in the Life Sciences space
  • Ability to both work well with a team - and to self-manage in a less-defined role
  • Demonstrated consistent and self-sufficient ability to develop and close sales pipeline
  • Flexibility to adapt with GSD Get Stuff Done attitude
  • Highly developed emotional intelligence with exceptional communication skills
  • A solid understanding of technology and specialty enrollment programs is essential.
  • Strong ability to sell a service in a consultative manner, with a track record of developing opportunities and closing business
  • Strong business, communication and presentation skills
  • Organized with the ability to manage & track multiple priorities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:


  • BA/BS or higher degree preferred, with more than seven (7) years of selling experience
