Responsibilities 

  • Define and execute test plans to ensure the successful rollout of new features 
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results 
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process  
  • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements 
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes 
  • Collaborate with other QA team members and positively contribute to team culture 
  • Work closely with the development team as part of defect resolution and fix validation 
  • Assist in the triage of user issues and file detailed bug report for developers 
  • Be solution oriented and help find long-term solutions to challenges or issues that arise

Qualifications 

  • 2-3 years of relevant QA software testing experience 
  • Proven ability to adapt in a quick paced, collaborative environment 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Experience using testing tools such Postman (or another HTTP testing utility) to conduct API level testing 
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English 
  • Able to work in a team setting and independently under minimum supervision 
  • Track record that displays ability to multitask projects of varying complexities 

 

Preferred qualifications 

  • 2-3 years of experience working on full lifecycle software development projects 
  • Programming knowledge in ASP.NET and/or JavaScript 
  • Previous experience working on web development projects 
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
