Job description

ABOUT RxLightning:

Founded in 2020, RxLightning is a venture capital backed health technology company creating the next generation solution that streamlines and digitizes the patient enrollment and intake process. As the market innovator in specialty enrollment, we help connect physician offices, specialty pharmacies, drug manufacturers, hubs, and patients together, to reduce administrative burden, drive operational efficiencies and streamlined communication, resulting in patients starting their medications much quicker than previously possible.

WHO WE ARE

Our mission is to create a world where every patient gets accelerated access to the therapies they need, through the creation of a single destination for specialty prescriptions that makes the enrollment process easy, automated, and as seamless as possible. That’s not just what we put on our website, it truly is our M.O. – we’re focused on the patient and helping them get access to their life-changing drugs faster than ever before. We’re a scrappy, woman-led startup who invests in our people. As we secure Series A financing in early 2022, we aim to scale and solidify our position across the United States.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are looking for a Director of Marketing that will take our brand to the next level – we want a visionary leader who will drive our brand forward, grow with us, integrate into our team and enjoy the journey, steering the ship confidently and successfully. In this position, we’d look to you to:

  • Build and direct our marketing strategy, which includes managing Branding & Communication, Growth Marketing and Product Marketing. Use data to define customer personas, develop messaging, and create go-to-market strategies. Oversee the brand’s scalability, performance and development.
  • Be the creative and quality lead of our marketing and go-to for our partner Agency. Motivate and guide for innovative and high-quality communication, working closely with our agency partner to concept, plan and execute marketing campaigns. Create compelling content that drives brand awareness and generates leads.
  • Optimize our communications mix and marketing funnel. Lead with well-designed tests and then scaling what works.
  • Collaborate with other leaders on innovation. Collaborating closely with our cross-functional leaders and agency team, to identify new opportunities to collaborate and drive customer acquisition.
  • Ensure we are ahead of the market. Regularly reviewing the market, trends, competitor activity and positioning to keep and grow our position as a category leader and innovator.
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing activity. Establish, communicate, and monitor KPIs. Review metrics with the internal team, Board and agency team, communicating a clear progression from where we were, where we are, and where we will be.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Experience leading and executing fully integrated marketing strategies to increase brand reach, user acquisition, engagement and retention.
  • Ability to understand and focus on both the ‘big picture’ and the ‘details’.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to develop business cases and define success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation skills that get people excited!
